Linux (not only) tools and apps

In this article, I will look at different Linux apps that I have used. Some of them are also available for other operating systems.

1. Joplin

The first very useful app is Joplin. Joplin is an open-source app for notes. It is available on every operating system, including mobile. It can be synchronized with Dropbox.

Peek is a very small and simple screen recorder. It records videos and creates GIFs. It is open-source and saves all recordings locally.

Flameshot is also an open-source app. It allows you to create and modify screenshots quickly and easily. You can simply add text, arrows, and many other elements.

DBeaver is a very cool database client. For me, the best feature of this tool is the ability to use multiple tabs for checking database data.

During discussions about open-source tools, I cannot forget about GIMP. GIMP is an image editor. I do not use it very often, but it is very useful for editing images.
